On 19 September, 2019, the Moldavian-Romanian Friendship Association organized, at the National Communities House in Vilnius, a ceremony to mark 30 years of continuous activity in Lithuania.
The event was attended by representatives of the Romanian Embassy in Vilnius, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova, members of the Romanian-speaking community in the Republic of Lithuania, representatives of the Department for Minorities within the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and representatives of other national minorities in Lithuania.
In her speech, the representative of the Romanian Embassy in Vilnius addressed congratulations to the Association for its entire activity and its active involvement in promoting and preserving the Romanian language, culture and traditions in the Republic of Lithuania, and offered to the Association a letter of thanks signed by H.E. the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Lithuania, Cosmin Dinescu.
